Christian Ethos & Worship
Our Christian Vision
‘By their fruits shall you know them.’ (Matthew 12:33)
Our Christian vision guides the heart of our school. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus, it inspires us to help every child flourish and succeed, knowing they are uniquely created, deeply valued and loved by God.
Our distinctively Christian ethos shapes our relationships, decisions and the way we support children to grow in wisdom, compassion and character.
Our Christian Ethos
At Blackfordby St Margaret’s, we aim to:
- Provide a nurturing, inclusive Christian community
- Celebrate each child’s God‑given gifts
- Encourage spiritual growth and reflection
- Foster kindness, respect, courage and hope
- Work in close partnership with families, church and community
- Live out our values through actions, not just words
We work closely with the Diocese of Leicester, St Margaret of Antioch Church, and the RISE Multi‑Academy Trust to strengthen our Christian distinctiveness.
Our Christian Values
Our Christian values underpin all aspects of school life. They are lived out in worship, behaviour, relationships and everyday choices:
- Patience
- Hope
- Perseverance
- Constancy
These values help shape a caring, calm and purposeful school where children feel safe, known and supported to grow.
